Culmination Day
Early in the morning we are chirping birds, busy to review and flourish our case study. In the afternoon , we're so excited preparing or our culmination. This was the time to affirm all the residents for welcoming us. And treated us well.
The experiences that I've been experiencing in NDRC were so worth keeping. I'll never forget those learnings. I might use it in my everyday life.

Breaking the wall
After we viewed the chart of our assigned resident. We went to NDRC main to attend the orientationwith NDMU. The discussion of our AP Supervisor was very much informative and a real refreshing to our previous subject.
I like the group dynamics of all the participants in the orientation. I've acquainted the students and it was nice to meet persons who have same field and interest.

Breaking the Ice
Social and Recreational.
Early in the morning we headed to main NDRC. We conducted an activity called "Guess What?" The house was divided into two groups. The residents seemed so enjoy and participative. The teases were there, the jokes and tense to win . the interns made a way to participate with the patients. So glad we won.

Winners and Losers
Viewing Charts and Sports activity....
In the afternoon, I really enjoyed playing games with the patients and residents. i enjoyed seeing them playing volleyball, Psychiatric ward Versus Addiction Program.
The residents were eager to win, while the patients were so focused. The game ended with joy by eating ice cream as to lowered their tensions. In the game, it's not a matter of winning, but it's a matter of how they react and fight for it to win. To the LOSERS congrats you've done your best and to the WINNERS keep up! :-)

Affirmation
Meditation-sharing, facilitate-journaling, Lecture w/ AP Head, Occupational Therapy.
In the morning, I was so excited to facilitate in the Journal Writing I and my partner Sheena were assigned by our Supervisor. its so nice to be affirmed but much nicer if I am corrected on my own wrong doings, that I am not aware of. I always love learning. I really like the lecture of our AP Head . My judgment in discussion was based on my values. I can say that I am not biased about it. But disappointed about the decision of the girl in the story.

Do and say it in a Nice Way
Meditation, Journal, Leveling and Affirmation, Lecture Notebook and Mind Games.
I like the processing of our Supervisor the Leveling and Affirming. The activity was good its like a self awareness activity for the person to know of what kind of person he/she was. The undesirable behavior, the actions that we like or hate.
It's really nice to heart out my feelings or emotions towards persons actions. Pointing out the action not the person. But of course in a nice and tactful way.

The scared lonely child
- Just for today
- Levelling and Affirmation
- Journaling, Writing and Reading
- Topic Lecture and S.L.E
Knowing the "King baby " attitude was discussed by our Supervisor. It Struck me to assess and check again my behavior and attitude. I was hit by the characteristics, especially in the inner struggle "the scared, lonely child who does not want to be hurt."
In the afternoon, i enjoyed when we facilitated the activities. it seemed the residents were enjoyed, so did I. having the experience with them by hearing their sentiments and significant life experiences were worth reflecting. I might use those learnings for me to become a better person.

Changed Notion
- Meet the new Supervisor
- Be oriented the House Rules of Addiction Program
My notions about the word "Addict" have changed. Especially when I heard the phrases from our Residence Facilitator that "They are not bad persons , they just made bad decisions".
In the afternoon after we interviewed our patient. I came to reflect on how painful and sorrowful it is to their families. For them, being in this institution is one of the things that must be thanked of because they got the chance to change their lives for the better instead of making it more miserable.

Self Report
Reviewing my self report for flourishing and to finalized it. My consciousness had been reached. Defensive thinking again was my mood. But I have to accept it and put myself into absorbing the tendencies base on my results.
I have to be watchful and reminded of my values before losing the things I already have (my family and friends), the faith in God that I have and to be fully rely on Him in every step of the way.

Shared Experience
It was so fulfilling that we've done our first case presentation. Excited for the culmination activity in the afternoon. We prepared some games. This time we gave thanks to our patients for their cooperation, time and effort.
I've learned a lot from them. I just hope that some how in our very little own way-- (by sharing our experiences) will inspire them to live life to the fullest.

Change or Remain?
- Drafting Self Report
-Editing of case Study
-Draft Evaluation
Today is Saturday, it was fun seeing my HTP result, re-assessed and re-evaluated were the things to be think of. If there's a need to be change or remain. The interpretations were somewhat true and somewhat undecided if I agree or not.
Whatever it is I do really need to change for the better.

He always fell asleep
While taking the test, I conditioned myself that as if I don't know about it. My co-intern was surprised that I drawn different , it doesn't look like before when I took my HTP, so am I.
During the film we started it with a prayer, next an Audio Visual Presentation of froggy dance for our energizer, a brief overview about the film and then start the movie entitled "Pursuit of Happiness". Our patients watching seriously except the one fell asleep. I noticed that every time he took his snack he always fell asleep. Might be, it has something to do with his illness and medications.

Release My Inhibition
- Meet the Patients ; Structured learning Experiences
- Review the Chart
- Orientation of psych Testing
- Administer a Test; R.I.Q
-BPI DAT and HTP
I'm so excited to meet our patients. Especially to the one whom we were assigned. having our SLE is the appropriate time to release my inhibition to our patients. I kept asking questions to him and he answered me. they seemed so happy so are we.
In the afternoon our Supervisor oriented us about the the value and the possible problems in personality assessments. Together with my partner, we went to the dinning hall for our patient's psychological assessments such as RIQ, BPI, DAP and HTP. Afterwards I took the BPI. It's time to re-assess and re- evaluate myself. Can't wait for the results.

Things to be aware of
-Orientation - NDRC
-Occular Activity
-Workshops, do's and don'ts
- Designation of the Patients
First day her in NDRC is having a mix emotion. We were oriented about their Vision mission and Goal by the HR manager. I have unleashed my anxieties when our Supervisor explained further in-formations about Psychiatric ward and it's patients. She gave us the basic principles in communicating the patients . I was energized by the workshops such as the "I statements and Reflective Responses". In the afternoon our Supervisor gave guidelines about endorsement of patients to students and the things to be aware of.
