The Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole 2010

The Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole 2010

I've seen this movie together with my co-peer facilitators and our moderator.  I like this movie, It's a battle between good and evil.   The name of the main character is Soren, he is a young owl  fond of listening stories which is an epic stories of the Guardian of Ga'Hoole a mythic of owl warriors who have fought a great battle and saved the the young owls against the bad ones.

The funny thing  that I couldn't get rid to laugh is that, they have a nurse maid which is snake... The sad part his brother was choked by the fire due to his own fault and wicked desires. The scene that I liked when Soren and L fly together and struggling to their wings and suddenly became fully fledged. This movie was good. High five to the writers and directors. But I almost forgot my most favorite part is when we we're together with my friends we've loosen up and relieved from stress by watching this nice story.

BACCALAUREATE PROGRAM

A day before our Graduation Day...  It's time to reminisce about the past the hardships that we go through... The cramming, the financial stresses of meeting deadlines and finishing the pending projects. This was worth reflecting on as we look back on the things we've been through.  I can say that we can't do this alone without the help of our God Almighty who always strengthens us.

SALUTATIONS!

MY PINNING DAY!

It's been a long months since I haven't open this blog ... I'm going to write it now to fill in here my experiences during my work days in school and in my internship days....

supposing it was December.....

Our thesis was done, at last!
It's time to go for the next adventure the INTERNSHIP! :-)
but before that we need to have a symbolic ceremony that signifies our entry to the five settings of internship the (Educational, Community, Guidance and Counseling, Clinical and Industrial )

The proponent of this Psychology Intern Pinning Day is the fourth year Psychology 39 Practicum class under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Noemi U. Bataga, the Psychology Program head and at the same time our instructor. The aim of this activity is to let the Psychology Interns receive their faculty in a symbolic rite.
This was held in the UM Mini Auditorium, Matina Campus Davao City. December 16, 2010 Wednesday.

This is our Psi Sign Pin and our Name Plate.....
This represents the word Psychology, which is the study on how people think, feel and act. this psych pin is not a mere ornament only attached to our psych uniform but a badge of nobility, which serves as a reminder that we are now carrying additional loads of character and responsibility.

This is me with my Aunt my mother wasn't  there she's in Cebu City by that time. After the giving of pins...  we presented a song and a dance number ....

FINAL TRAINING FOR OUR NEW MEMBERS OF UMPFO

This pic was taken during sun rise... it represents hope that in every darkness... there are more lights to come.
The stone represents the emotional baggages, that needs to be still to control and balance. And let the waves wash and bring to some place to forgive and forget.
The sun represents as "tomorrow is another day".... learn and leave it there and start again.
The tree states that we need to grow to be strong. Our imperfection reminds us that we are only human that has a limitations might have zero percent capacity, needs assistance from the eternal force (God).

These photos were one of the most beautiful views and so far nicest shot I've ever done! :-) ....
The University of Mindanao Peer Facilitators Organization have undergone the final training for the new members.... This was two days seminar workshop. This annual event is so fruitful and meaningful to each and everyone of us. We used to develop our spiritual and emotional aspects for us to be fully equipped to reach out others.

We're so thankful to God that we have some avenues to unload our emotional baggages and resolved our own issues in life...

Thanks for dropping by...
